Public institution „National Park Mljet“ in cooperation with the Ministry of Environmental and Nature Protection are the holders of perennial activities for the implementation of integrated strategic project titled '' System Improvement Project of valorization and interpretation of natural and cultural heritage of the basic phenomena of National Park Mljet ''.
The project target is:
- Development of a system of interpretation of cultural and natural heritage
- Improvement of visitor infrastructure
- Improvement of material conditions and standards of the NP Mljet
- Improvement and regulation of maritime systems and pedestrian traffic.
As part of the integrated project there are realized and several sub-projects:
- Project planning, construction and equipping of the promenade in the area of the Great Lake, including the design of urban furniture
- Project Planning of access to hiking trails and the environment in the zone of Great Bridge, including the design of urban furniture
- Project Planning of access to hiking trails and the environment in the area of Small bridge, including the design of urban furniture
The project documentation has been made by Schooling Ltd. Dubrovnik, in cooperation with Mia Erak, authorized landscape architect and Ada Kezić, professional designer.
